Privacy Policy

This policy covers giwago.fun, the pre-launch site for GiwaGo, and its whitelist game Catch the Pump. We collect as little as we can: only what is needed to run the game, give one whitelist spot per person and stop cheating.

What we collect

• An anonymous account ID. When you sign in with Google we only ask for the basic openid permission. Google gives us a unique account number, which we turn into a one-way keyed hash before storing it. We never receive or store your email address, name or profile photo.
• Your wallet address — the address you enter to join the whitelist.
• Game runs — the random seed, your recorded moves, score, time and timestamps of each run, linked to your anonymous account ID, so our server can replay and verify it and remember your progress.
• A hashed IP address — stored as a one-way keyed hash, used only for rate limiting and spotting abuse.
• Step clicks — the time you clicked the follow and share buttons. We do not read your X account.

Cookies and local storage

We set only strictly necessary cookies: a sign-in session (up to 30 days) and a temporary cookie used during Google sign-in (10 minutes). Your best game result is kept in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device. We use no advertising or analytics cookies.

Third parties

• Google — for sign-in. Google's own privacy policy applies to your Google account.
• Cloudflare — hosts the site and database, and runs Turnstile, a bot check that may process technical signals from your browser.
• X — the follow and share buttons open x.com in a new tab. Nothing is posted without your action.

How we use it

Only to run the game, verify results, prevent cheating and duplicate accounts, and build the whitelist. We do not sell or rent your data. Whitelisted wallet addresses may later be used on-chain, where they are public by nature.

How long we keep it

Whitelist and game data are kept until the whitelist has been used for launch, then deleted. You can ask us to delete your entry at any time.

Your choices

Playing requires signing in with Google, so each run and spot belongs to one person. To see your entry, sign in on the site. The wallet address can't be changed once submitted. To have it deleted, contact us at giwagofun@gmail.com or @GiwaGoFun on X.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
